Lips are just one of those subjects. The kind of subject that many artists will never become tired of creating. I don’t really know what it is about them. Maybe it’s the intimate, romantic idea of them; a feeling of social closeness. Maybe it’s that they are soft and plump. Whatever the reason may be, I enjoyed every second of painting this little piece. I’m thrilled with the way it turned out.
