This painting came to be due to a couple of reasons. First, summertime is when all of my favorite things come back: strawberries, hiking, camping, sunshine, swimming, and sunflowers. Second, a very amazing woman I know requested to see a painting of a Sunflower. This woman has been wildly supportive of me and my artwork for as long as I can remember, and I just loved creating this for her.
