I’m completely obsessed with plants- shocking, I know. My studio always looks like an ever-changing jungle with different types of houseplants. They bring me so much happiness and inspiration as I work, so it seemed only fitting that they, such a huge part of my creative fuel, should be captured in little portraits. This is a painting of one of my many succulent plants. Out of all of my plants, succulents seem to outnumber the rest and are always bouncing around from pot to pot. That is why I have decided to name this series of work Succulent Fiesta. Throughout this series the other houseplants will be joining the party as well.
