I gather a lot of my inspiration from my surroundings. I live in the rainy, misty Pacific Northwest; where I find myself hiking and exploring beautiful and moody forests. Everything about this natural region of the United States is so aesthetically pleasing to my eyes and eventually carries into my artwork. I love this painting so much because it has a moody and magical vibe to it that makes me want to keep gazing at it.
